Researchers Anonymous presents author Holly Harman with special guests.

Exciting opportunity to time warp back to the ‘60s with lecture and photo presentation by author Holly Harman, who wrote the coffee table book, “Inside A Hippie Commune”, Documentary Film, and CD Soundtrack. Special guest, Jami Cassady will talk about her father, Neal Cassady: Spreading the legacy of Neal and Carolyn Cassady. Neal was the bridge between the Beats and the Hippies. Carolyn was a renaissance woman, talented artist, and author. She was the reason Neal, Jack and Allen moved to San Francisco. Eric Levin will perform songs he wrote at the hippie commune to set the mood. Holly will present the beat generation transforming into the hippie generation with none other than Neal Cassady at the helm. Hear about Bridge Mountain, The Commune, The Barn, The Catalyst, and much more!

Coming at our next meeting May 12th: Learn about this year’s recipients of Historic Landmark “Blue Plaques,” awarded to structures in Santa Cruz County that are at least 50 years old and hold historic significance.
